Tjolöholms slott

Här före jul vann jag två stycken fribiljetter för slottsvisning på Tjolöholm slott så idag utnyttjade vi dom och fick en fantastisk dag!

I won two tickets for a showing of Tjolöholms castle right before Christmas and we decided to use them today. We got a fantastic day!

Framsidan, slottet stod klart 1904 efter 6 års byggnation / the front, the castel stood ready 1904 after 6 years of building

Marmor angel som kunde räddas när Fru Dicksons mouseleum rasade / the marble angel that could be saved when Mrs Dicksons mouseleum caved in.

Alla ellednimgar, lysknappar och mestadels av lamporna i slottet är original / all electricity, light switches and most of the lamps in the castle are original.

granen i Mr och Mrs Dicksons sovrum. Mr Dickson hann aldrig uppleva slottet då han dog av blodförgiftning redan i byggskedet, Mrs Dickson hann bo där i två år innan hon dog på en resa där hon hade ätit en rutten frukt. / The Christas tree in Mr and Mrs Dickson's bedroom. Mr Dickson never had the pleasure to see the castle ready as he died of blood poisoning in the beginning of the build. Mrs Dickson got to live there for two years before she died after eating a rotten fruit on a trip.

Inbyggt badkar, fanns i två av badrummen på andra våningen som vi fick se. / Built in bath tub, there were in two of the bathrooms on second floor that we got to see.
